The Nature and Environment Center De IJzeren Man will open again! The corona measures are taken into account. We will be open to the public and recreation seekers from Tuesday 2 June. Anyone who does not have a cold is welcome. Entrance is free.
In order to keep the distance of 1.5 m from each other, we have made a one-way route, both in the garden and in the center. The garden can be reached via the entrance and at the desk of the center. This way we keep an eye on the number of people and if it gets too busy, we can close the gate.
Disinfectant gel is placed at the counter, in the caress and exhibition hall. Also at the exit; this is on the side, near the Stenentuin. Leprechaun arrows and footsteps show you the way.
In the exhibition hall you can view an exhibition about the Tungelroysebeek with archaeological finds and old maps. There are also various experiments with water and sand that you can perform. So there is much to see and do again!
What could be more fun than going out together and discovering nature with a fishing net in your hand or recognizing benthic animals on a search plate? The Nature and Environmental Center organizes all kinds of activities for young and old about nature, the environment and sustainability.
